The Jobn Edwards Homestead race preview from Motorsport.com is as follows:

John Edwards, 18 year-old race car driver from Cincinnati, Ohio, will debut in the premier 2010 GRAND-AM Rolex GT Championship Series in this weekend's Homestead Grand Prix in Miami, Fl.   He will be racing for teams SpeedSource and Newman Wachs Racing, founded by the late actor Paul Newman, with 22 year-old Adam Christodoulou in a Mazda RX-8. He will be racing against former teammate and actor Patrick Dempsey of Grey's Anatomy, in the series.

"After two consecutive championship seasons in 2008 and 2009, I am eager to win more races in 2010," said Edwards, in response to the announced year-long series. "I'm excited to be a part of the GRAND-AM Rolex Series. I can't wait to get in the driver's seat and push for race wins like I have over the past ten years." .

February's edition of Road & Track Magazine featured Edwards as an up-and-coming F1 driver. Currently there are no Americans racing in F1 Grand Prix racing. Recently, Edwards has been featured in numerous Cincinnati local television and radio interviews.

John Edwards lives in Cincinnati. In 2009, at 18 years-old, he became the youngest champion in the 36-year history of the Atlantic Championship racing series. Michael Andretti was previously the youngest Atlantic champion at 20 years. John finished the season with 4 wins and 9 podiums in 12 races. In 2008, John won the Star Mazda Championship. In 2003 at age 12, he became the youngest driver in U.S. open-wheel road racing. On January 17, 2004, John became the youngest winner in open wheel road racing history, at just 12 years of age. And now at the ripe-old age of 18, he debuts in the GRAND-AM GT Series on March 6th at the Homestead Grand Prix in Miami, Fl.
